Is Vance the Future of US Policy toward Israel?

US Vice President JD Vance is one heartbeat away from being President of the United States. Both today and tomorrow, his stance toward the State of Israel matters.

This video consists of a few, short excerpts from an interview that lasted for almost three hours and covered a lot of territory.

Regarding Israel, Vance is careful to couch concerns about Israel’s alleged US influence and control of policies with political caveats to cushion their blow. At the same time, he asserts that “elements” in Israel want an “indefinite” war with Iran, which is explicitly false. No one from any “element” or faction in Israel wants indefinite war. Everyone wants it to end, but most only if the Iranian regime is decisively defeated, removing the serious threat of its open intent to destroy the Jewish State.
