Friday Q&A: Is the Temple Physical or Spiritual?

Every Friday, I answer a common question related to the end times. Today’s is about the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem.

Question:

I recently heard a Christian author say he believes the location of the Temple has changed from an actual physical structure in Jerusalem to a spiritual building in the hearts of believers. He quoted 1 Corinthian 3:16. Do you think the Temple will actually be rebuilt on the Temple Mount? Or is it really a “spiritual temple” like the author suggested?
