Will Iran Flatten the Dome of the Rock?

About two weeks ago, I decided to brave the missiles and walk to the grocery store. It was a beautiful day. On the way back, I walked along the Tayelet Haas Promenade on a high ridge south of Jerusalem’s Old City. Along the way, the entire Old City and its Temple Mount were on display. In my opinion, it is the most spectacular view of Jerusalem.

While walking home, all at once… a siren screamed, warning of an incoming missile, or missiles, from Iran.

Lacking a bomb shelter, I decided to take out my phone.

“Maybe,” I thought to myself, “just maybe I’ll catch a missile hitting the Dome of the Rock.”

I didn’t, of course. In fact, for that alert, all the missiles flew past Jerusalem toward the center of the country, toward Tel Aviv.

Could it happen, though?
